Apple highlights 2020’s most popular apps
Apple has today announced its App Store Best of 2020 winners, highlighting the most popular apps of the year.
Awarding developers with a first of its kind physical App Store award, that features the App Store logo set into 100 percent recycled aluminum, with the name of the winner engraved on the other side, Apple has crowned Wakeout!, developed by Andres Canella as the best iPhone app of 2020, with Zoom taking the title of iPad app of the year and Fantastical, developed by Flexibits as Mac app of the year.

Minecraft topped the paid games charts, followed by Plague Inc, Heads Up! and Monopoly. Among Us! ranked as the year’s top free game, followed by Call of Duty: Mobile, Roblox and Subway Surfers.
