iPad Air pre-orders begin, releasing on Friday, October 23rd.
Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the redesigned iPad Air online and through the Apple Store app ahead of the device’s official release on Friday, October 23rd.
Featuring an all-screen design with a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, camera and audio upgrades, a new integrated Touch ID sensor in the top button, USB-C, and more, the new device marks the biggest upgrade to the iPad Air line to date.
The new iPad Air features a completely new design in five finishes: silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue. The device, which includes a 7MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera, now features the same 12MP rear camera used in the iPad Pro for higher resolution photos and 4K video capture.
The iPad Air 4 starts at $599 (US)/£579 (UK) for the 64GB WiFi model, and $729 (US)/£709 (UK) for the 64GB WiFi + Cellular configuration. AppleCare+ is priced at $69 (US)/£69 (UK) to cover accidental damage protection and extend Apple’s standard service warranty.
