Apple Announces Apple Watch SE
Apple has today announced Apple Watch SE, which Jeff Williams says combines elements of Series 6, and the ‘essential Apple Watch Elements’. The SE comes with the S5 chip, which is much faster than the Series 3, and has a larger display that is more similar to the ones found in the Series 4 watches and later.
It boasts the same accelerometer and fall detectors found in the brand new Series 6, without the Blood Oxygen sensor. Apple also announced in an environmental segment, that Apple Watches will be coming without power adaptors to save on packaging and help reach their goal of being carbon neutral from 2030.
It will priced at $279 with the Apple Watch Series 3 staying on sale for $199. It is going to be available to pre-order on the 18th September.
