Apple touts privacy in humorous new iPhone ad
Apple has released a humorous new privacy-focused ad for iPhone, putting the spotlight on the sensitive data smartphones store such as browsing history, messages, health records, and more, touting how iPhone gives users control over their information and protects privacy.
The one minute ad shows people over sharing private information, such as a commuter revealing that he browsed eight websites for divorce lawyers that day, and a woman announcing she purchased prenatal vitamins and four pregnancy tests on March 15 at 9:16 a.m.
The ad closes with the tagline “Some things shouldn’t be shared,” with Apple saying “Some things shouldn’t be shared. iPhone helps keep it that way. Privacy. That’s iPhone” in the video’s description.
