iPhone 12 will be more expensive than the iPhone 11, even without EarPods and a charger, claims report
Taiwanese research firm TrendForce has shared a report outlining what it believes to be the pricing for this year’s new iPhone models, claiming customers could see the cost of all four models increase, despite the fact they won’t come bundled with either wired EarPods or a power brick.
Corroborating on several reports of the past few months, TrendForce suggests Apple will ditch the usual accessories that come bundled with new iPhone models in an effort to reduce costs, with only a Lightning cable expected to be offered with no additional charge.
According to the firm, Apple will price the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 between $699 – $749 and $799 – $849 respectively, with the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max from between $1,049 – $1,099 and $1,149 – $1,199.

All four of this year’s new models are expected to offer 5G cellular performance, with this set to be one of the biggest selling points for the new models, alongside an all-new design similar to the squared design of the iPad Pro.
The Apple Post has released exclusive 2020 iPhone renders, offering what we believed to be the most accurate representation of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Rumors point to Apple announcing the new iPhone 12 range in October, with the high-end iPhone 12 Pro not arriving until November.
