Apple again offering six-month free Apple Music trial for eligible students
Apple is bringing back its six-month free Apple Music trial for eligible students, allowing new subscribers to get unlimited access to the service across their devices for free when registering before the end of October.
As noted by 9to5Mac, as part of its Back to School promo, which offers educational discounts on select Mac and iPad models, Apple is advertising that students new to Apple Music will receive a total of six-months free, as well as free access to Apple TV+ when signing up to the service by linking their Apple Music account to UNiDAYS.
The promo is similar to last year when Apple included a six-month free trial to Apple Music as part of its Back to School event, offering three extra months worth of streaming for free compared to the typical three-month trial period offered to regular subscribers.
The promo is valid until October 31, 2020.
