Leaker claims new Apple Watch and iPad launching in September
Leaker Jon Prosser has shared what he claims to be Apple’s launch plans for the iPhone 12, next-generation Apple Watch and updated iPad models, based on information from “in the system.”
Prosser claims Apple will announce the Apple Watch Series 6 and updated iPad models through press releases rather than hosting special media events as seen previously, saying we should expect the announcements as soon as the week commencing September 7.
Rumors point to Apple unveiling an all-new 10.8-inch iPad Air and refreshed iPad mini, with the Apple Watch Series 6 expected to add blood oxygen monitoring capabilities and minor improvements over the current model.
Prosser has a mixed track record in reporting on Apple’s future plans. The leaker wrongly claimed Apple would rename iOS to “iPhone OS” in June ahead of WWDC, and he shared images of what he claimed was Apple’s AirPower charging mat, with those images later turning out to be a clone device.
w/c = week commencing (for context)
With the staggered release of iPhone 12 and uncertainty of final dates for Pro models, there’s a chance that the dates could slip/change
I’ll let you know if anything gets changed! But for now, this is the info in the system 😏

The leaker says Apple will host an iPhone 12 event on the week beginning October 12, with the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models shipping the following week, with the high-end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro unlikely to ship until November.
This year’s new iPhone lineup is expected to prompt a “supercycle” of upgrades, with all four new models rumored to feature an all-new design, 5G cellular connectivity, and more.
