Possible iPhone 12 Box Insert Render shows no charger or EarPods

A new concept render has surfaced, claiming to be the box insert for the upcoming iPhone 12 scheduled to launch later this year.

Ran Avni, from the iPhone 3D concept channel ‘ConceptsiPhone’ has shown a possible look at the new box insert that will be included in the new thinner iPhone packaging. It shows a sleeker profile to the ones seen in previous iPhone packaging and shows evidence of no charger or EarPods being included within the box. It is not a surprise with many rumors being that Apple is planning to stop the yearly tradition of giving chargers and EarPods in its new iPhones this year, with the iPhone 12 being the first model possibly to ship without both.
The reason is rumored to be about reducing waste, as most people who buy a new iPhone will have a charger from the previous one, however many people still rely on getting one out of the box. Also if you are a new iPhone customer, you may not have the charger from an old phone, so it would be an added expense. With the EarPods, as Apple sees more and more success with the AirPods line, and updates planned later for AirPods Pro and AirPods 2, the move could be seen to drive more customers to go wireless, but this is just speculation. Until the iPhone 12 launches, we will have to wait and see if this render and the box will be accurate to what rumors have been suggesting about the iPhone 12 box.
