Apple to package future iPhone models in thinner box
Apple is rumored to be dropping the free headphones and charger that usually come packaged in the box of new iPhones, starting this year with the iPhone 12, instead leaving customers to purchase the accessories separately.
In light of the claims, Twitter account “L0vetodream” has suggested Apple will make the box fo this year’s new models “thinner” and “exquisite,” which would make sense given the rumors of Apple scrapping some of the usual accessories that have been bundled with the iPhone in previous years.
The leaker claims the decision to drop headphones and a charger from the upcoming iPhone 12 may also apply to the iPhone SE moving forward.

Apple is said to be wanting to keep the cost of the iPhone 12 around the same as the current-generation iPhone 11, with the reports suggesting that by removing the free headphones and charger that usually come packaged in the box, Apple is hoping to offset the cost of adding 5G networking components.
The Apple Post has released exclusive 2020 iPhone renders, offering what we believed to be the most accurate representation of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
