Apple to include 20-watt power adapter with ‘iPhone 12’, claims leaker
Apple will include a powerful 20-watt USB-C power adapter with the iPhone 12, according to leaker Mr White on Twitter who has shared an image of the upcoming charger, alongside supposed internal prototypes.
Currently, Apple ships the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max with an 18-watt power adapter, and the iPhone 11 with a significantly less powerful 5-watt charger. The bigger the wattage, the faster the charge, so by including a 20-watt USB-C power adapter with the iPhone 12, Apple would be able to offer users even quicker charging speeds, making fast-charging available out of the box.
Apple is said to be releasing four new iPhone models this fall: a new, smaller 5.4-inch entry-level iPhone 12 and larger 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, alongside a 6.1-inch version of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. – It is unclear whether the rumored new 20-watt charger would be included in all new 2020 iPhone models, or just the premium “Pro” line.

While Apple may add a new charger to the box of the iPhone 12, reports suggest they will be removing the wired EarPods that have been included with the iPhone since the beginning.
The Apple Post has released exclusive 2020 iPhone renders, offering what we believed to be the most accurate representation of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
