iOS 14 to add Voice Search, “Guest Mode” and more to Safari
Safari is set to get a substantial update with iOS 14, adding new voice search, improved tabs, new iCloud Keychain functionality and “guest mode” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Shared within a tweet ahead of WWDC later today, where Apple will unveil the future of iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, Gurman responded to a question that asked if he knew what’s brewing with Safari following rumors speculating on what could be included as part of iOS 14’s new update.
The brief response from Gurman offers plenty of tidbits, although he warns he doesn’t know for sure what will be included and what is still in development for a future release.
There’s the new iCloud Keychain stuff, translation integration, voice search, improved tabs, guest mode etc. in development — but who knows if that’s coming this week.

Gurman’s tweet follows after Twitter-based leaker L0vetodream teased that “huge” improvements to Safari were on the way, as well as a long awaited update to the way incoming calls are displayed on iPhone.
