Leaker says Apple may NOT announce any new hardware tomorrow at WWDC
Reliable leaker Jon Prosser has said Apple may not announce any new hardware tomorrow at its highly-anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), suggesting any planned product launches have been “scrapped.”
Warning that he “might be wrong about this one,” Prosser said in a tweet today that “any possible hardware has been scrapped for WWDC tomorrow,” dampening hopes of Apple unveiling an all-new iMac, that had previously been rumored by numerous sources, including Prosser himself.
Rumors had suggested that alongside unveiling the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, Apple may announce an updated Apple TV, all-new “AirPods Studio” over-ear headphones, a smaller HomePod to compete with the likes of Amazon Echo, plus new “AirTag” item trackers to locate missing personal belongings, such as keys, wallets and bags.

Might be wrong about this one. Would love to be wrong!
I’ll be surprised with all of you, either way!

We suggest taking Prosser’s tweet with a fair pinch of salt, especially given the numerous sources that have so far pointed at tomorrow’s event being when Apple would unveil several hardware updates, but given the leaker’s accurate track record and sources, this tweet could very well be one worth taking note of.
