iOS 13 now running on 81% of all devices, says Apple
Apple has shared its latest software adoption statistics, revealing 81% of all iPhone and iPod touch devices now run a version of iOS 13, with 73% of iPads using iPadOS.
Confirmed within an update to the Apple Developer webpage, the insights show 92% of all iPhone models introduced in the last four years use iOS 13, with 93% of all iPads introduced in the last four years using iPadOS.
7% of iPhones released over the last four years continue to run iOS 12, with the remaining 2% running iOS 11 or below. For iPad, 5% of users are yet to upgrade to iPadOS and continue to run iOS 12, with 1% running an earlier version of iOS.
Today’s update follows after Apple last released adoption statistics in January, at the time saying iOS 13 had been installed on 77% of iPhone models released in the last four years, ever so slightly behind iOS 12 in the same period last year when the figures showed the software was on 78% of recently released devices.
