iCloud outages causing sign-in, account and web app downtime
Update: Apple appears to have fixed the issue.
Apple is experiencing outages affecting iCloud services, leaving many unable to sign-in to their iCloud account, access web apps on iCloud.com and use iCloud Mail.
The outages have been confirmed by Apple on their system status page, with the webpage currently advising the issue is being worked on by engineers.
Some users are reporting seeing an error stating “The application you have selected does not exist.” with others noting other iCloud-based services such as Apple Pay are also not working properly, and app specific passwords are failing.
