Apple News has 125 million monthly active users
Tim Cook has revealed that Apple News has 125 million monthly active users, marking an increase of roughly 25 million users since usage information was last shared at the beginning of the year.
During its Q2 2020 financial results today, which saw Apple report quarterly revenue of $58.3 billion, an increase of 1 percent from the year-ago quarter, Cook touted that Apple News is home to the latest COVID-19 news from “reliable sources.”, and that the monthly active user base of the service has grown to 125 million in the countries where the service is available.
Apple did not specify how many of these users are paid subscribers to Apple News+.
Additionally, Cook noted that iMessage and FaceTime usage has hit an all-time high.
