Apple begins advertising iPhone SE in new ‘The Opening’ TV ad
Apple is airing a new TV ad in the United Kingdom, showing a brief unboxing and the satisfying slow removal of the protective film from the new low-cost iPhone SE.
The 3o-second ad “The Opening”, which Apple uploaded to its YouTube channel in the UK on Friday, shows somebody dramatically clearing clutter from their coffee table to make way for the unboxing of the device. The person can be seen eagerly opening the box, and slowly removing the plastic film from the front and back of the iPhone to the sound of “Yaya” by Ron Rogers.
The Apple Post obtained a shortened version of the new TV ad last week prior to its official release, which we believe Apple intends to use on social media to promote the device.
The ad closes with the caption “Lots to love. Less to spend.”
Small 4.7″ design. Studio-quality portraits. Sharp 4K video. Long battery life. The security of Touch ID. Privacy built in. And A13 Bionic chip — the fastest chip in a smartphone. There’s lots to love. And less to spend.
