Apple hosting company-wide virtual meeting this month, Tim Cook to answer COVID-19 questions
Apple CEO Tim Cook will host a company-wide virtual meeting this month to allow employees working remotely as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak to ask questions about Apple’s working-from-home arrangements, according to Bloomberg.
In a memo sent on Wednesday, Apple has asked employees to submit questions by end of day on Saturday, encouraging workers to share their experiences of working through the disruption to daily life that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about.
A date hasn’t been confirmed for when the meeting will take place.
The virtual meeting follows after Apple announced the closure of all of its 464 retail stores outside of Greater China in March, around the same time the company started to encourage corporate employees working in its offices around the world to work remotely.
