Apple boosts Apple Watch trade-in values part of new promo
Apple has increased the amount it pays for second-hand Apple Watch models as part of a new promo for “Heart Month”, offering up to $100 when customers trade-in an Apple Watch Series 2 or Apple Watch Series 3.
The promo increases the trade-in values for the wearables by $30 to $40, up from $60 for the Apple Watch Series 2 and $70 for the Apple Watch Series 3.
Apple is set to host a special Apple Watch Activity Challenge starting February 8, rewarding users who close their Exercise ring for seven days in a row with special iMessage stickers and a reward in the Activity app.
The new special trade-in promo comes after Apple cut trade-in values of iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watch models last month, although the Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch Series 2, and Apple Watch Series 3 were exempt from the change.
So far it looks as if the special promo is limited to customers in the United States.
