    Rio Heating unveils HomeKit-compatible smart heater

    UK-based Rio Heating has unveiled one of the world’s first fully fledged smart heaters, the Rio ARC.

    The stylishly designed curved glass ARC convector heater will allow users to control the heat in their home using HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, giving the ability to change the temperature of the ARC using the built-in Home app on iOS and macOS as well as with the dedicated Rio Heating app and Siri voice commands.

    Rio touts owners of multiple ARC heaters will be able to create heating zones around the home and manage them anywhere in the world, and compared to traditional convector heaters the ARC will offer up to a 40% reduction on heating costs.

    One of the only heaters approved by Apple and fully compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, it’s the perfect way to heat your home or office and with its sleek, super-slim curved glass finish it also looks stunning no matter which room you put it in!
