AirPods Pro sell out ahead of the holidays, earliest shipping date December 28
Apple has pushed its AirPods Pro shipping estimates to December 28, meaning orders placed now for the newly introduced noise-cancelling headphones won’t be arriving in time for the holidays.
The online Apple Store in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and Europe is showing delivery estimates for the headphones starting between December 28 and December 30, with that lead-time set to grow as we near Christmas.
Luckily, AirPods Pro remain available at many third-party stockists. Retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and a wide selection of carriers show the earbuds are available for delivery before the holidays, but as the festive shopping period commences we’d recommend ordering yours soon before stocks run out.
Apple is forecasted to double AirPods shipments to 60 million this year thanks to the introduction of AirPods Pro. The headphones were introduced last month, featuring “Active Noise Cancellation and superior, immersive sound in an all-new lightweight, in-ear design.”
