Apple to use new antenna design on ‘iPhone SE 2’
Apple’s rumored ‘iPhone SE 2’ will feature an LCP antenna design for improved wireless transmission, according to respected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has provided heaps of information about the new device that is expected to launch in early 2020.
Within a new report, Kuo claims Career Technologies and Murata Manufacturing will begin supplying Apple with antenna components for the iPhone SE 2 in early 2020, in time for the device to launch by the end of the first quarter of the year.
Kuo predicts the all-new “iPhone SE 2” will feature an iPhone 8-style chassis, suggesting the device will feature a 4.7-inch LCD display and Touch ID home button. The new device is expected to be priced starting from $399, available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage configurations with three color options: silver, space gray and red.
