iPhone 11 Pro Max features 25% larger battery than iPhone XS Max
Apple’s all-new iPhone 11 Pro Max features a 25% larger battery compared to the previous-generation iPhone XS Max, according to regulatory filings submitted to China’s Technology’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA).
As discovered by MacRumors, the 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max uses a 3,969 mAh battery compared to a 3,174 mAh battery in the 2018 iPhone XS Max. The filings show Apple’s 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro has a 3,046 mAh battery, while the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 11 has a 3,226 mAh battery.
Furthermore, all iPhone 11 devices have 4GB of RAM. The RAM matches that found on last year’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but increases the offering for the iPhone 11, successor to the iPhone XR which only had 3GB.
During its event, Apple touted that the iPhone 11 Pro offers users an additional four hours battery life compared to the iPhone XS, and that the iPhone 11 Pro Max offers five hours longer.
