Apple Store goes down ahead of today’s ‘By innovation only’ event at Apple Park
In typical fashion ahead of new product launches, Apple has taken down the online Apple Store and accompanying iOS app, hours before its highly-anticipated ‘By innovation only’ event at Apple Park.
The event, which starts at 10am DPT/6pm BST is expected to see Apple unveil its next-generation iPhone line, comprising of a lower-cost iPhone XR successor dubbed the iPhone 11, and two new devices to replace the iPhone XS/iPhone XS Max, expected to be called the iPhone Pro and the iPhone Pro Max in addition to updating the Apple Watch with new casing options, sharing the official release date for iOS 13, and more.
Apple’s new hardware will likely be available to pre-order later this week on Friday, 13th September however, the Apple Store downtime is usually when the company uploads all its new products to the store, plus their matching accessories, such as new iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands.
