Apple discontinues Apple Watch Series 4, iPhone XS and iPhone 7
Apple has introduced the Apple Watch Series 5 at an action packed event which also saw the introduction of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, and with the new introductions comes the discontinuation of the previous-generation Apple Watch Series 4, alongside the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus which have all been removed from sale at Apple.com.
Apple now offers customers two main choices of Apple Watch: Apple Watch Series 5 or the Apple Watch Series 3, whilst the iPhone line now comprises of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, with the iPhone XR now priced at $599 and the iPhone 8 lowered to $449.
Third-party resellers will likely continue to stock the now discontinued hardware until stocks deplete.
