Apple shares cleaning instructions for titanium Apple Card
Apple has shared a set of cleaning instructions to advice users how to protect and maintain the condition of their titanium Apple Card.
Apple’s full list of instructions can be found in a new support document online, which advises against the use of household cleaners, compressed air, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, or abrasives, and offers advice on how to store and carry the card to avoid damage to the magnetic strip and chip.
The page highlights how Apple achieves the white finish of Apple Card through a multi-layer coating process that’s added to the titanium base material. To avoid any potential damage, the support document recommends that Apple Card should be stored in a wallet, pocket, or bag constructed from soft materials, and it should not touch another credit card because doing so could cause scratching.
