Apple Arcade games leak ahead of Autumn launch
Apple Arcade was launched back in March, alongside Apple Card which recently went live to U.S. customers, and Apple TV+, and News +. It promises to be a subscription based gaming service serving the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, with over 100 games set to launch with the service.
Last week, 9to5Mac.com managed to access the early access program, which is intended for testing purposes for Apple Employees. This led to the pricing scheme of the new service leaking, proposing a $4.99 per month price point, with a one month free trial.
Now, six games have been leaked out of the service, such as ‘Way of the Turtle’, ‘Down in Bermuda’, ‘Kings of the Castle’, ‘Sneaky Sasquatch’ and ‘Frogger in Toy Town’. They were all beta pre release versions of the games, intended for testing.
Screenshots were made available of the new games set to launch with the service, and in turn driving the interest in seeing what using Apple Arcade, which has been very vaguely shown by Apple since its unveiling, will really be like.
