Apple TV+ rumored to launch in November, priced at $9.99/month
Apple TV+, Apple’s upcoming pay-monthly streaming service for its original content will reportedly launch in November, with the platform likely priced at $9.99 per month following an initial month free trial.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is considering releasing three episodes of TV shows at once followed by weekly installments. The news comes shortly after a separate report claimed Apple’s original programming budget has skyrocketed from $1 billion to over $6 billion.
The suggested price of Apple TV+ will sit inline with what Apple charges for Apple Music. A leak from within an App Store API suggests that Apple Arcade, the forthcoming subscription-based gaming platform from Apple will be priced at $4.99 per month, also offering users a free trial prior to signing up.
“The Morning Show,” “See,” “Amazing Stories” and “Truth Be Told” are said to be some of the first shows that will be available on Apple TV+, with more content planned to be released moving forward.
