Apple will soon open its second store in Singapore at the spectacular Jewel Changi Airport.
The store, which will open on July 13th at 10:00am local time, will be located within Changi Airport’s newly opened shopping and dining complex, home to the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by a lush indoor forest and luxury retail stores and 100 eateries.
Jewel Changi, named the world’s best airport seven years in a row will see Apple expand its retail presents into airports, an unfamiliar, yet understandable move due to the Jewel Changi Airport’s now celebrity-like status in the retail world.
Apple’s new location in Singapore will be the second in the country, working in conjunction with Apple Orchard Road which opened in May 2017. Just like other Apple Stores, the new Jewel Changi Airport location will offer Today at Apple creative sessions and offer device repairs, alongside traditional retail services.
The design of the store is yet to be unveiled, though it will likely include sequoia wood tables and matching wooden shelves, large in-door trees and bright light boxes across the ceiling.
