Crowds gather for opening of Apple Xinyi A13 in Taipei, the second Apple Store in Taiwan
Apple has officially opened Apple Xinyi A13 in Taipei, the second Apple Store in Taiwan.
The store is spread over two floors, with the main level focused on retail, featuring sequoia wood tables and matching wooden shelves, with two marble staircases on either side of the store leading down to the basement which includes a large Today at Apple display for live in-store creative sessions, in-door trees, and more product displays.
The first of thousands who visited the grand opening received a special white t-shirts with the Apple Taipei logo, as seen previously on branded construction hoardings around the store, and a Today at Apple booklet with a list of all the upcoming creative sessions scheduled at the store.
Taiwanese singer-songwriter Eve Ai performed live for guests followed by an artist-led Today at Apple session based on featuring world-class creators, including local artists based in Taiwan.
Much like Apple’s flagship Michigan Avenue store in Chicago, United States, Apple Xinyi A13 features a beautiful curved freestanding glass and stone walled exterior and a MacBook-style roof.
