Apple Pay now available in the Netherlands
Apple has rolled-out Apple Pay support to users in the Netherlands, allowing those banking with ING to use their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac to make payments using Apple’s mobile payment platform.
ING confirmed last month it was working with Apple to release Apple Pay support, though at the time no official release date was shared.
Apple Pay support is limited to ING customers at this time, though other banks are expected to adopt support for the mobile payment service in the future.
According to Apple’s regional Apple Pay web page, Apple Pay can be used in The Netherlands with several online and high street retailers including Adidas, ALDI, Amac, ARKET, BCC, Burger King, Capi, cool blue, COS, Decathlon, Douglas, H&M, Jumbo, Lidl, McDonalds, Starbucks, and others.
