Apple registers eleven new iPhone models in Eurasian database
Apple has registered eleven new iPhone models in the Eurasian database ahead of their official release later this year.
The new iPhone filings including model numbers A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223.
The database, which companies are legally required to list encrypted devices sold or due to be sold in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, has a proven track record of showing new Apple hardware months before their official release.
In January, the database revealed Apple’s unreleased iPad Air and updated iPad mini 5 prior to their launch in March, as well as previously showing the iPhone 7, Apple Watch Series 2, AirPods, and more.
The models included within the Eurasian database filings are likely Apple’s 5.8 and 6.5-inch iPhone XS and XS Max successors, dubbed the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max, in addition to Apple’s updated iPhone XR.
Shared by Indian blog MySmartPrice, Apple has listed the new devices as run on iOS 12, although iOS 13 will most likely be available and pre-installed on the hardware when publicly released.
