Apple has officially released iOS 12.3, rolling out support for its redesigned TV app, adding support for AirPlay 2-enabled TVs, and bringing a range of bug fixes and system improvements for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The ‘all-new’ TV was first shown at Apple’s event in March, featuring a new ‘Channels’ feature that allows users to clearly pay for only the content/channels they want, ad-free, on-demand, and all within one app.
The app has been redesigned with new curation features that use advanced machine learning to determine content you might like. The “Watch Now” tab helps you determine what to watch next. There are also new, redesigned tabs for Movies, TV Shows, Sports, Kids and Library.
In addition to the new TV app, iOS 12.3 also adds support for AirPlay 2-enabled TVs, allowing users to AirPlay content such as TV shows and movies to compatible television sets from companies like LG, Samsung, Vizio, and more.
