Apple releases 12.3 software update for HomePod
Apple has released a minor update to HomePod alongside the launch of iOS 12.3 on Monday, adding support for “joining some types of enterprise networks that require credentials.”
Asides from the updates for enterprise networks, the 12.3 software update doesn’t appear to add any new functionality or Siri capabilities to HomePod.
The new update will automatically be installed on HomePod speakers once users upgrade to iOS 12.3.
Apple gives the option to manually update by opening the Home app on a device paired with the HomePod, tapping on the home icon in the upper left corner of the display, opening “Home Settings” and by selecting “Software Update.”
