Eve launches HomeKit-enabled Eve Energy Strip, available for $99 in the US

Eve has launched a new HomeKit-compatible Eve Energy Strip in the United States, allowing you to control non-HomeKit compatible products, such as lamps, TVs, stereos, and more using the Home app, with the Eve app, or with Siri voice commands.
First shown at CES, the new Eve Energy Strip has three power outlets which can either be controlled individually or all at once. The smart power strip also allows you to track power consumption and an estimated cost of energy for the items plugged into the product.
The sleek Eve Energy Strip features a black matte body with an aluminum frame and a 6.3-foot cable. Eve notes the outlets were designed with generous spacing between sockets, so even bulky power supplies can be plugged in without obstructing a second socket.
Eve has added three white LED buttons at the end of the Energy Strip to show whether the socket’s are using power, and also allow for the strip to be turned off manually. – The unit has been built with protection against power surges, overcurrent, and overvoltage.
Eve hasn’t announced when international versions of the Eve Energy Strip will be available. The strip is now available to purchase from the Eve website, from Amazon, and from Best Buy.
