Apple has lowered the cost of a monthly Apple Music subscription in India, cutting the price down to the equivalent of $1.43 per month, undercutting Spotify by charging Rs 99 for individuals and Rs 149 ($2.15) for families.
Eligible students see the price of a monthly subscription cut to Rs 49 per-month, the equivalent of 70 cents in the United States.
Apple’s revised Apple Music pricing comes after the company lowered the price of the iPhone XR in India on Thursday by around a quarter, slashing 17,900 rupees ($259) off the price of the entry-level 64GB iPhone XR.
