Apple to announce Q2 2019 financial earnings on April 30
Apple has announced that it will share its financial earnings results for the second fiscal quarter (first calendar quarter) of 2019 on Tuesday, April 30.
Confirmed within an update to its investor webpage on Monday, Apple will update us all for the first time since sharply lowering its revenue guidance due to fewer than anticipated iPhone upgrades in the previous Q1 2019 earnings call, giving us a glimpse into how well products have been selling during this first calendar quarter of the year.
Apple’s guidance for the second fiscal quarter of 2019 includes expected revenue of $55 to $59 billion and gross margin between 37 and 38 percent.
Following tradition, Apple executives Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri will likely be taking part in a Q&A with investors and members of the media shortly after the official earnings call has finished, a live session which usually reveals facts from inside Apple alongside giving us all a small glimpse into what the company has planned for the upcoming year.
The earnings call will be held at 2PM PT/5PM ET, with Apple releasing its full earnings report 30 minutes prior.
