Apple shares new privacy focused ‘The Answer’ iPhone XR ad
Apple has released ‘The Answer’, a new iPhone XR ad focusing on the anti-tracking measures of Safari that prevent advertisers from knowing what users are searching for online.
Following a succession of humorous commercials last month, the new video shows a teenager in a bathroom looking at his mustache in the reflection of a mirror. Surfing Safari using an iPhone XR, his internal monolog muses “All these websites say it’s normal to start shaving at age 15,” suggesting the kind of thing that internet users may not want to share with others.
After glancing online, the teenager places his iPhone down and the sound of an electric trimmer can be heard in the background as Apple ends with the tagline “Because what you browse should be your business”.
