Alleged leaked schematic claims to show iPhone XI with triple-lens rear camera
Leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer has shared an alleged schematic of Apple’s next-generation iPhone, showing a chassis with housing for the rumored new triple-lens rear camera system expected to arrive later in the year.
Paired alongside an earlier CAD rendering of the so-called iPhone XI, Hemmerstoffer shows how the similarities between the rendering and leaked schematic add fuel to earlier claims Apple will position the rear triple-lens camera system in a triangular configuration within a square camera housing.
Asides from the schematic Hemmerstoffer doesn’t share any new information regarding the supposed 2019 iPhone model, but the images do give us our first glimpse at what could very well be the iPhone XI.
Reports suggest Apple’s next-generation iPhone XS predecessor will feature upgraded Face ID (with a higher power flood illumination), larger batteries and gain the ability to wirelessly charge other devices in addition to a new frosted glass design, with claims from industry analysts reporting the iPhone XI will scrap 3D Touch, similar to the iPhone XR.
Supply chain schematic images such as the images above usually provide a good first look at the shell of forthcoming iPhone models. Looking closer at the image you can see the necessary parts of the device including the SIM card cutout, Lightning port and wireless charging cutout.
