Apple releasing watchOS 5.2 today, bringing ECG support to Hong Kong and Europe
Apple is releasing watchOS 5.2 today, bringing ECG support to Apple Watch Series 4 owners in Hong Kong and various regions in Europe, adding support for the new second-generation AirPods, and including support for real-time text (RTT) for phone calls.
Shown in the release notes below, watchOS 5.2 will be the first update to expand the availability of Apple’s ECG application outside of the United States after it first debuted in the country late last year. – A full list of supported countries is yet to be confirmed, however with the release expected at any moment we won’t be waiting long to find out.
Owners of Apple’s newly announced AirPods 2 will be able to pair their earbuds with any Apple Watch Series 1, Series 2, Series 3 or Series 4 wearable following the update.
