Tim Cook changes Twitter name following Donald Trump’s ‘Tim Apple’ gaffe
In a televised meeting of the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board at the White House yesterday in which Apple CEO Tim Cook touted Apple’s investments in Austin, Texas and efforts in education, Donald Trump appeared to forget Tim Cook’s full name live on air, referring to the Apple CEO as “Tim Apple”.
In response to the comical renaming, Cook has updated his Twitter account from Tim Cook to ‘Tim ’, a playful response to the presidential gaffe.
This isn’t the first time Tim has had some fun on Twitter, prior to the launch of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4, Cook pranked everyone with his ‘accidental’ Twitter DM made public.
