Concept imagines new 16-inch MacBook Pro, featuring Face ID and slim bezels
Concept images imagine redesigned 16-inch MacBook Pro with Face ID, slim bezels and an iPad Pro-like flat design.
Profound leaker and concept creator Ben Geskin has shared a mockup of what he imagines Apple’s rumored new 2019 MacBook Pro will look like, with beautifully rounded corners on the display, a flat aluminum chassis and a larger 16-inch screen.
The visualization comes after industry leading analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared late on Sunday within a research note distributed to investors that he believes Apple will release an upgraded MacBook Pro in 2019, featuring a new display between a 16-inch to 16.5-inch size.
Kuo’s brief report didn’t say whether or not the new machine would feature Face ID, Apple’s facial recognition system found on the latest iPhone and iPad Pro models. Face ID is something many, such as myself, have dreamt about coming to the Mac since the feature was unveiled with the iPhone X in 2017.
