Apple is supposedly planning to release a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with an all-new design alongside a huge 31.6-inch 6k3k standalone monitor later in the year, according to world-renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Within a research note published late on Sunday, Kuo shared his forecast for Apple in 2019 – revealing he expects the company to release AirPower and an upgraded version of AirPods during the first half of the year, with a new iPod touch, iPad Pro, iPad mini, 10.2-inch iPad and ceramic Apple Watch all expected to arrive before the end of the year.
The report doesn’t specify any new features coming to the new MacPro, asides from the fact Kuo believes the machine will come with a 16-inch to 16.5-inch display and an all-new design.
Additionally, Kuo’s research note adds Apple will release a new Mac Pro with “easy to upgrade components” as well as possibly launching a new 13-inch MacBook Pro to offer customers the option of 32GB RAM.
Apple has previously said it would release a “modular” Mac Pro in 2019, so Kuo’s reference to a new Mac Pro likely comes from Apple’s previous confirmation.
