iOS 13 to include Dark Mode, major iPad enhancements, and CarPlay upgrades

Apple is preparing to launch iOS 13 with Dark Mode, major iPad enhancements such as a new iPad home screen, the ability to tab through multiple versions of a single app like pages in a web browser, and improvements to file management, alongside upgrades to the CarPlay system, reports Bloomberg.
The report notes how Apple will introduce a dark viewing mode to match the Dark Mode that was first introduced on macOS with macOS Mojave last year, allowing iOS users to have an “easier nighttime viewing.” – A highly requested feature which will no doubt will be welcomed news to many.
Unspecified improvements to the CarPlay interface are expected, according to Bloomberg, but most importantly the report notes Apple will give iPad a major upgrade with iOS 13 with many new iPad-specific new features and upgrades, one of the biggest being a rumored new iPad home screen.
The report goes on to say how Apple is expected to launch this year’s iPhone 11 (possibly the iPhone XI) with three rear cameras, as seen in numerous renders over the past couple of weeks, alongside the possibility of removing the Lightning connector in favour of USB-C.
Apple’s next operating system update, iOS 13, will include a dark mode option for easier nighttime viewing and improvements to CarPlay, the company’s in-vehicle software. There will also be iPad-specific upgrades like a new home screen, the ability to tab through multiple versions of a single app like pages in a web browser, and improvements to file management. – The company will also integrate two new services, including a magazine subscription service and its original video content efforts, via iOS updates this year.
