Apple releases new bug fixing update for HomePod within iOS 12.1.3
Alongside the release of iOS 12.1.3 earlier today, Apple has included a new bug fixing update for HomePod that includes general improvements for stability and quality alongside fixes for an issue that could cause HomePod to randomly restart, and that could cause Siri to stop listening.
The new update to HomePod is relatively minor, unlike the previous update which added the ability to make and receive calls, add multiple timers, and more.
HomePod users will have the latest software begin to install on their speakers as soon as a pared iOS device running iOS 12.1.3 is within close proximity. To update your HomePod manually, users can open the Home app on their device and tap the Location arrow in the upper right hand corner which will give the option to start the Software Update.
