Apple has released updated iOS adoption data online through developer.apple.com, revealing that iOS 12 is now installed on 78 percent of devices released in the last four years.
The new data published today shows iOS 12 is installed on 75 percent of all iOS devices, just a few percent over the course of the last month. According to Apple, out of all the devices sold in the last four years, 17 percent are still running iOS 11, while 5 percent are using iOS 10 or below.
Apple last updated its Apple Developer data in December, showing that 72 percent of devices sold in the last four years were running iOS 12 or above. The previous data reveal also shared that iOS 12 was installed on 70 percent of all iOS devices at the time of measuring.
The statistics shared by Apple are based on devices that connect to the App Store, and doesn’t include devices that download the latest software but never come online, or devices that aren’t connected to an Apple ID.
