Apple launches new online Veterans and Military Purchase Plan, offering 10 percent discount on products
Apple has introduced a new Veterans and Military Purchase Plan online in the United States that offers a 10 percent discount on select products for both active military personnel and veterans, along with members of their households.
The program allows members to pick from Apple’s latest range of iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac models, as well as from a range of accessories. The program was previously available at Apple retail stores only, however Apple has now widened the program with a new and exclusive webpage on Apple.com.
With the program, members can purchase an iPhone XS from $899, and an iPhone XR from $674, compared to their standard retail price of $999 and $749.
In a statement shared with TechCrunch, Apple said that it is “proud” to offer the discount to active military and veterans.
We’re proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service.
