Apple redesigns and improves its Certified Refurbished Online Store
Apple has given its Certified Refurbished Online Store a redesign today, making the outlet site feel more in sync with the design aesthetic of Apple.com, and the Apple Store app.
The Certified Refurbished Online Store is a place which Apple offers customers discounts on a number of its ageing/previous generation devices, such as the Apple Watch Series 3, Apple TV models, accessories, and more.
Alongside the introduction of a redesigned store layout, Apple has included “Featured Offers.” section which highlights the newest products available to purchase at a discount, such as the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and more.
Within the update, Apple describes its Certified Refurbished Online Store as a place customers can purchase discounted devices “like new,” with savings of up to 15%.
Every Apple Certified Refurbished product completes a rigorous refurbishment process that includes full testing that meets the same functional standards as new Apple products. Your refurbished device is truly “like new,” with special savings of up to 15%.
Earlier in the week Apple added HomePod to its list of Certified Refurbished products in the United States. Discounted HomePod speakers still remain exclusive to Apple’s US Certified Refurbished Online Store, but following the update today, HomePod is now showing as a category in other countries, hinting a wider rollout of the refurbished speakers is on the horizon.
