Apple begins selling $299 refurbished HomePod speakers

Apple has added HomePod to its online refurbished products store in the United States today, offering customers a discount on the smart-speaker for the first time since it was released at the beginning of the year, taking $50 off the original retail price of the device.
Available for $299, the refurbished HomePod speakers are available in both white and space gray, the devices come with Apple’s one-year limited warranty and a free 14 day return window. Apple notes that speakers purchased today will be delivered between November 30 and December 14, depending on shipping method selected at the time of purchase.
The refurbished HomePod models will arrive repackaged in a new Apple Certified Refurbished retail box alongside HomePod set-up documentation. As with all products sold through Apple’s online refurbished products store, the speakers are thoroughly inspected, tested and cleaned prior to sale – leaving you with a near brand-new device.
