Apple’s new MacBook Air has a better battery life than the MacBook Pro and MacBook
Apple’s redesigned MacBook Air comes with many powerful new features, including Touch ID, a beautiful 13.3-inch Retina Display and “Hey Siri” support, and surprisingly, despite the slim, lightweight design of the new machine, the 2018 MacBook Air has a better battery life than the MacBook and MacBook Pro.
The new MacBook Air features a 50.3 watt-hour lithium polymer battery, offering users up to 12 hours of battery life when web browsing, 13 hours when watching iTunes movie playback, and 30 days of standby time.
Comparing the 2018 MacBook Air against Apple’s newest MacBook Pro and MacBook, the Air can provide users with two extra hours of battery life for web browsing, and an hour to three hours more when watching movies. The MacBook Pro offers 10 hours battery when browsing the web and 10 hours of iTunes movie playback, while the MacBook offers 10 hours of battery when browsing the web and 12 hours of iTunes movie playback.
Apple’s new MacBook Air charges over USB-C, coming with a 30W power adapter, the same that ships with the 12-inch MacBook.
