Images explore Apple’s redesigned Covent Garden retail store
Following the grand re-opening of Apple’s flagship Covent Garden retail store in London this morning, new images explore the redesigned store in all its glory.
The gallery of images (below) from Saif Aslam, via 9to5Mac, show how Apple has kept the 19th-century building’s exposed brickwork, iron archways and grand entrance, incorporating the industrial ascetic with the new, modern store design which has been spreading across the world, featuring large in-door trees, sequoia wood tables and matching wooden shelves along the walls, new seating for personal set-up and Genius Bar customers as well as a large Today at Apple display.
Located in the upmarket West End of London, Apple Covent Garden was once the “world’s largest” Apple Store when it first opened in July 2010. Like other “next-generation” Apple retail locations such as the renovated Regent Street store in London, Apple has installed bright light boxes which extend the length of the ceiling, powered on 100% renewable energy as Apple does with all of its global operations, including retail stores, offices, data centres, and more.

Apple Covent Garden also features private areas for business customers to meet with specialists to discuss projects, purchases and more. The images clearly show Apple’s attention to detail and strive for perfection. The store is located at 1-7 The Piazza, London, WC2E 8HB and is open 10am – 8pm Monday – Saturday, noon to 6pm on Sunday.
